Comparing frequent flyer credit cards

Don’t forget that there is more to a credit card than the bonus points on offer. It’s crucial that you also compare factors like interest charges, fees and the number of interest free days offered.

All these factors can impact the overall cost of your purchases and will influence which card option is best suited to your budget or financial needs. And if you’re looking to travel, you may also want to compare perks like complimentary travel insurances, medical coverage, rental car insurance, and more.

Given that flight cancellations and airport “chaos” is not uncommon right now, it may be worth reviewing the conditions for the credit card issuer’s insurance provider. This may offer you peace of mind that you are financially covered in the event of flight and accommodation cancellations or lost/damaged luggage.
