What are Next Business Energy rates?

What are the Next Business Energy plans available?

What is the NextConnect portal?
As a customer of Next Business Energy, you get access to the NextConnect portal that gives on-demand, 24/7 insights into your account. This personal energy management dashboard works on a desktop, tablet or mobile. It can help you optimise your energy consumption and costs.
With NextConnect, you can:
- Get a clear picture of your daily or weekly energy usage.
- Set your energy budget and track usage against the budget.
- Get alerts and notifications if budgets are crossed.
- Enable bill ‘smoothing’, meaning that you pay the same amount each month, based on an estimate of your total annual bill. This prevents seasonal fluctuations in billing.
- Specify how you would prefer to be contacted, whether by email, SMS or post.
- View your energy bills.
If you use Xero for accounting, you can also get your energy bill delivered automatically into your active Xero account. You can enable this option in NextConnect.
Moving your business premises Next Business Energy
If you’re a Next Business Energy customer and are moving your business premises, you need to fill out this form at least five business days before the planned date of your move. When you vacate your current premises, you need to ensure that the meter is easily accessible for a reading. Next Business Energy will take a final reading and invoice you as such. It’s often a good idea to turn the main fuse for this meter off when you leave.
If you choose to connect your new site to Next Business Energy, they will waive the disconnection and reconnection fees and can help you with a smooth transfer of your energy account.
Get rewarded for referring a business
As a Next Business Energy customer, you may be eligible for a $50 credit to your account if you refer another business to Next Business Energy and they decide to make the switch. The credit will be applied to your account 90 days after the new business completes the sign-up process.
