Comparing frequent flyer credit cards

Keep in mind that there is more to a credit card than the bonus points on offer. It’s crucial that you also compare factors like interest charges, fees and the number of interest free days offered, as these can impact the overall cost of your purchases. And if you’re looking to travel, you may also want to compare perks like complimentary travel insurances, medical coverage, rental car insurance and more.

Carefully review the terms and conditions as well to see if the card issuer’s insurance provider offers coverage in the event of Covid-related flight or accommodation cancellations. Especially as more Australians are starting to travel again and flight cancellations and airport “chaos” is not uncommon at the moment.
