Macquarie revamps its credit card rewards

Macquarie today announced the launch of its new digital credit card rewards program.

The new Macquarie Rewards now offers eGift cards from a range of over 25 global and Australian retailers, replacing the previous rewards program.

Macquarie Rewards allows consumers to browse, redeem and retrieve digital eGift cards directly within Macquarie’s mobile banking app and online banking site.

The bank’s head of personal banking, Ben Perham, said it makes sense to allow consumers to manage their rewards while on the go.

“The program allows customers to redeem eGift cards in their account online and through the Macquarie Mobile Banking app, so they can enjoy their rewards and manage their credit card account and rewards program all in one place,” he said.
